Latvia which is officially known as the Republic of Latvia is a country with a democratic parliamentary structure situated in the Baltic region in Europe's North.It shares its land borders with Estonia, Lithuania, Russia, Belarus and by a coastal border to the west with Sweden. It has a unitary government of 118 divisions for administrative purposes with 109 municipalities and 9 cities.

Doctoral studies can take anywhere from three to four years and involve advanced studies and the preparation of a Doctoral thesis.

Engineering study in Latvia is very popular and the universities here are famous for producing high quality engineering and IT graduates. Latvia also has EU membership, so a degree from here is equivalent to that from any other EU country.

(Face cover 80%) - A valid Passport (its period of validity must exceed the validity period of the requested visa by at least six months).
- Police Clearance Certificate for Latvia (Apostle by Ministry Of External Affairs) Original required. But not older than 6 months. On PCC - student complete name as per passport + date of birth + passport number should be mentioned as the same is necessary requirement for immigration.
- Financial Means of Subsistence :
Orginal Bank Certificate with a minimum balance of Rs 4,00,000 in student‘s personal bank account ONLY (kindly make sure the certificate is in the same language as per sample provided by Indo European) not older then 15 days when given to Indo European Head Office. We do not require Bank Statement On bank certificate - student complete name as per passport + date of birth + passport number should be mentioned as the same is necessary requirement for immigration. - Debit card photocopy of the same bank account (make sure it is mentioned on the card “INTERNATIONALLY VALID“. You have to take this debit card to Latvia to claime the resident permit from immigration.
